This painting began with a layer of paper collage material, then layered alternatingly with oil and acrylic paint. This piece is something of a self portrait, with two simple depictions of myself hidden within. It is also a self portrait in that it is a pure expression of myself and my mind. That being said, the piece is completely open to interpretation from a viewer in a completely different way, which is also why the piece is numbered and not titled. This way viewers may intepret the painting uninfluenced.
